Information We Collect
Apricot accesses only the information required to provide its functionality, including Shopify store data necessary to create, publish, and manage customer surveys.
Shopify Store Data
Depending on the features you use, this may include products, collections, customer records, orders, and other Shopify resources that are required for survey targeting, publishing, analytics, and integrations.
Survey Responses
Merchants create and manage their own surveys. Survey responses submitted by customers are stored only to provide the app's functionality, including:
- Viewing responses
- Analytics and reporting
- Response exports
- Integrations configured by the merchant
The merchant is solely responsible for the information they choose to collect through their surveys.
Customer Information
If enabled by the merchant, Apricot may create or update Shopify customer records using information submitted through surveys, such as names or email addresses.
This information is used only for the features requested by the merchant and is never used for any unrelated purpose.
How We Use Information
We use collected information only to provide the services offered by Apricot, including:
- Building and publishing surveys
- Collecting survey responses
- Generating analytics
- Exporting response data
- Running merchant-enabled integrations
- Providing customer support
We do not sell merchant or customer data.
Data Storage
Survey data is retained while the app remains installed or until it is deleted by the merchant.
Third-Party Integrations
Apricot supports optional integrations such as Shopify Customers, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, Shopify Flow, and Zapier.
These integrations are used only when enabled by the merchant.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information processed by Apricot.
